Parish Council Meeting Dates 2026

Huntington Parish Council meetings are usually held on the second Thursday of each month except for August when no Council meeting is held.  Each meeting starts with a Public Question Time at 7 – 7.30pm where members of the public can raise and discuss matter of concern with Parish Councillors.  

At 7.30pm the formal Parish Council Meeting starts, members of the public are welcome to attend and listen to issues that are being dealt with, but they are not allowed to participate in the meeting.  

April is the month of the Annual Parish Meeting which historically was the only meeting when the public could discuss matters with Councillors in a formal meeting in Parish Chambers.  

The meeting in May is the AGM meeting and is the time when the Chairman, Vice Chairman and members of sub-committees are elected.
